تستضيف كلية الصفوة الجامعة يوم الاحد الموافق 17 اذار 2019 منظمة أميديست لتقديم ندوة تعريفية لبعثة الفولبرايت المجانية لدراسة الماجستير في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية لطلبة المراحل المنتهية وحملة شهادة البكالوريوس في مبادرة هي الاولى من نوعها على مستوى الجامعات في كربلاء المقدسة
يوفر برنامج فولبرايت للطلبة الأجانب والمهنيين العراقيين الشباب الفرصة لمتابعة الدراسة على مستوى الدراسات العليا في الولايات المتحدة. وتشمل الجائزة تمويل الرسوم الدراسية والرسوم المطلوبة؛ والكتاب والمعدات وبدل سفر وراتب شهري للغرفة والغذاء، وكذلك تأمين صحي للحالات الطارئة.
وبالإضافة إلى التدريب الأكاديمي، تقدم المنح الدراسية لفولبرايت أيضاً تجارب التبادل الثقافي التحويلية. وبصفتهم مشاركين في برنامج فولبرايت، ستتاح للطلبة العراقيين فرصة فريدة لتجربة الحياة في الولايات المتحدة، وكذلك مشاركة ثقافة العراق وتقاليده الفريدة مع الأمريكيين.
